A little prudence and caution will make for an easy time onboard for everyone.If you wait to buy tickets the day of your visit, you must get to the site early, or you risk not getting a ticket. Escorts will need to warn the visitor of toe-stubbers, knee-knockers and head bangers found throughout the ship and submarine. Visitors that are visually challenged and accompanied by a friend or family member may successfully navigate all venues. Chairs and benches are located throughout the venues to allow people to sit and rest. All the sites are mostly wheelchair accessible except for the Bowfin Submarine and portions of the Battleship Missouri. The Pearl Harbor Historic Sites welcome its visitors with disabilities. All venues are accessed through the Visitor Center, either by a short walk or via a free shuttle bus. Taxi cabs and ride share companies must follow parking lot signage, as well as all pick up and drop off protocols. Please plan for traffic and allow time to find parking in one of the free parking lots located within walking distance of the visitor center. Several of the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites are located partially outdoors with no air conditioning. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. ![]() Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum 9:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum 7:00am to 5:00pm (last entry 4:30pm)īattleship Missouri Memorial 8:00am to 4:00pm The Visitor Center Audio Tour and Pearl Harbor Virtual Reality Experience 7:00am to 5:00pm Include an additional hour (or longer during busy summer months) for transportation to your passport experience. The last shuttle departs from the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum at 5:00pm. The last shuttle departs from the Battleship Missouri Memorial at 4:05pm. Shuttles run on a loop with the first stop at the Battleship Missouri Memorial, second stop at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and then back to the Visitor Center. Shuttles depart from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center every 15-20 minutes from 8:00am daily. If you do not have base access, you will need to take a FREE shuttle to get there. The Battleship Missouri Memorial & Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum are located on Ford Island, which is a secured military base. High theft area, do not leave valuables in vehicles. More information is available on the park’s website, here. Bags may be secured in a storage facility near the visitor center entrance for a fee. Cameras, cell phones, and wallets are allowed. Bags containing medical devices or medication may be allowed into the site at the discretion of the National Park Service.
